Microdermabrasion — for face and body
Updated 4 August 2026
Microdermabrasion is a mechanical peel: a diamond tip lifts the surface layer of dead cells while the device vacuums away what it has loosened. It is gentler than classic dermabrasion and, unlike it, needs no recovery time.
What it actually does
The procedure works on the epidermis, removing its layers to varying depths but in a controlled way. The immediate result is a more even texture and visibly brighter skin. The deeper result comes from something else: the suction stimulates collagen and elastin production and improves circulation in the treated area.
On the face, it helps with fine and expression lines, acne scarring, and the marks left by sun exposure or simply by time.
Why diamond rather than crystals
Diamond microdermabrasion is safer than the crystal version, which leaves a fine dust residue. Diamond tips come in different sizes and grades, so the treatment can be tailored — and the delicate areas around the eyes, nose and mouth, exactly where the first signs of age appear, can be worked comfortably.
Not only for the face
The same procedure can be used on areas with stretch marks or scarring, and on elbows, knees and heels, for a deep exfoliation that encourages the skin to regenerate.
How long it takes, what it costs
A session takes 30 minutes and costs 280 lei. It pairs well with a hydrating treatment straight afterwards, while the skin is at its most absorbent.
